In the early 2000s Stephen Honthy established his own textile company called 3C Designs. He created patterns for fabrics specifically for ties. Since 2011 these ties and fabric samples have been sitting in a suitcase waiting to be used and he gifted me them to create something special. In collaboration with Chris Honthy we photographed the ties together. I then brought each into Photoshop and created these from there. They are square in thought of Instagram posting and potential future use on the internet. I created these collages to bring the ties back to life and give them a new and fresh meaning.
